Elevator use guide
1. Precautions before taking the elevator
①. Observe whether the elevator stops and the door is fully open before entering to avoid falling or collision.
②. If the elevator door is found to be abnormal, there is a noise or lighting fault, stop using it and immediately notify the property management.
③. Do not block the elevator door with your body or objects. Use the door button instead.
④. Do not let children ride the elevator alone, avoid playing in the elevator entrance.
⑤. When using an accessible elevator, make sure the wheelchair is fully inside the elevator to avoid jamming the door.
2. Safety regulations when riding the ladder
①. Stand close to the inner wall of the elevator and hold the handrail (if any) to avoid leaning against the elevator door.
②. Large items (such as furniture and electric vehicles) are not allowed to enter the elevator, and they should exit when overweight.
③. Do not jump, shake or force the door in the elevator car to avoid the risk of failure or fall.
④. Do not carry inflammable and explosive articles (such as gas tanks, fireworks) on the ladder.
⑤. When the elevator overload alarm occurs, the last person to enter should actively exit and do not stay forcibly.
⑥. The elderly can hold the handrail when taking the ladder, and it is recommended that someone accompany those who have difficulty moving.
⑦. Parents should hold their children and avoid pressing buttons or reaching out to touch the door crack.
3. Emergency response
Passengers should take the following measures for emergency assistance and self-protection when encountering an emergency:
①. Call for help through the alarm system, intercom, mobile phone, or announcements in the elevator car. If there is a patient or other critical situation inside the elevator car, inform the rescue personnel.
②. Maintain a safe distance from the elevator door or any open doors, and follow the instructions of the management staff.
③. Do not tamper with the elevator door or climb out of the safety window before the rescue personnel arrive, and do not extend any part of your body outside the elevator car.
④. Stay calm and perform knee bends to reduce discomfort caused by the sudden stop of the elevator.
4. Civilized elevator etiquette
①. Get off first and go up to avoid crowding; take the initiative to give way to the elderly, pregnant women and disabled people.
②. When carrying pets, you should take a leash to avoid affecting others.
③. Do not smoke, spit or throw garbage in the elevator. Pay attention to sealing and leakage when carrying liquid items.
④. During the epidemic period, paper towels/gloves can be used to touch buttons to reduce direct contact.
