Automatic safety device of the elevator car catcher

▊ The automatic safety device of the catcher is a spring-loaded clamp that is connected between the winch hook and the working platform. A steel cable is connected to the working lever of the catcher and switches on the catcher:

• automatically, when the automatic switching device is not under tension;

• manually, when the latch is open.

▊ When the ASML location is the catcher switching device is on the opposite side of the speed limiter, a long steel cable is required (supplied)
